After that romantic date, if you know you know, it's time to save your princess as you are now a knight in a shining armour, with your trusty sword, and shield you make your way to Soave's castle, or as you would say it in Italian 'il castello di Soave'.  You are about to go and you realise, that you have no idea where this castle is, and that's where I come in and help, the Castle is roughly 33km from the city centre, so you'll need a ride, not a horse, but a car with a navigator just to switch things up a bit, and so you won't get lost. Insert the address 'Via Castello Scagliero', enter the postcode '37038', and you are set to go to save your princess, or if you want to flip it wait for your knight in shining armour. And we have arrived after at our castle, the dragon is not in today so the job was quite easy, but now you decide to learn more about the castle and it's history. Verona... An Ancient Gem of the Roman Empire

Image
You may be aware of Rome, most likely because that's where one of the most important empires in history was formed leaving many artefacts that until this day are key to tourist attractions. However we are NOT going to visit Rome, but 315 miles north of from the city, we are going on a trip to a city that had a lot of Roman influence, ladies and gentlemen hop on board cause our destination is Verona.

Delicious, but it's not the Colosseum?!

We have arrived in Verona, it's a good sunny day, with the typical Italian breeze, a lot of chattering, you just feel in the moment, so much that you decide to have a quick lunch in the 'Peperino Pizza & Grill' in Piazzetta Municipio 10 (Verona).  But as you get out you see this huge building, similar to the Colosseum, but it is not, this is our first stop of the Verona tour, The Arena.  The Arena is a Roman amphitheatre located in Piazza Bra. It was built in the first century during the times of the Roman empire, and it is still in use today for entertainment events, and shows such as concerts, and large scale operas performances with a capacity of 22000 people. During the times of the Roman Empire the Arena was used for entertainment purposes, but not quite the one's we'd have today. The building was host of circuses, but most importantly violent fights between gladiators, and animals from different parts of the world. this might be far from the form of enter

O Romeo, Romeo

Where are we now?, after venturing piazzale Olimpia to visit the Marcantonio Bentegodi stadium, home of Hellas Verona. We are now in a much more romantic scenery, a house, a balcony reminds you of a certain Shakespeare story, and wait, there's also a statue of you know who at this point. We are now at Juliet's house, and statue you see is Juliet. We all know about the famous play of Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare, and this place is ideal for you to take pictures with the statue of Juliet, or if you want to be in the moment grab your Romeo, or your Juliet, and go towards the balcony, you can take pictures or you can simply recite the play. Juliet's house has many links to the famous play we all know, the first one is that the house is owned by the Dal Capello family that's where the address of this venue derives from (Via Capello 23), which is similar to Juliet's family name Capulets, the house also had a balcony that was casually facing the courtyard, and finally
